On March 25, the 5th China International Hydrogen Congress & Expo grandly opened in Beijing. TMT made a stunning debut with its independently developed core hydrogen energy products, including high-reliability PTFE sealing gaskets, PPS diaphragms, and vehicle-mounted high-pressure hydrogen supply systems, showcasing its formidable strength in the field of polymer materials and product solutions for hydrogen production and storage. Yang Zhiguo, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and General Manager of TMT, attended the event in person.
As core components of alkaline electrolyzers, PTFE gaskets and PPS diaphragms serve as the "first line of defense" and the "last line of defense", directly determining the efficiency, lifespan, and safety. At the exhibition, TMT debuted its independently developed, high-reliability PTFE gaskets and PPS diaphragms for alkaline electrolyzers. Having endured over 300 days of testing in high-temperature alkaline solutions and under high-low temperature cycling conditions, the products showed no significant alkaline corrosion. With their adaptability to wide temperature ranges and fluctuations, the products better accommodate real-world operating conditions, ensuring the long-term and safe operation of electrolyzers.
Hydrogen safety, a matter of widespread public concern, has become a key factor constraining the broader application of hydrogen energy. At this exhibition, TMT released its independently developed high-reliability hydrogen supply system. This system incorporates integrated safety development technologies for hydrogen supply, including structural strength design, hydrogen pipeline matching, system safety protection, and system testing and simulation. Having passed the new energy locomotive installation assessment and safety testing, the system is poised to empower OEMs in the R&D of hydrogen-powered vehicle models, thereby facilitating the green transformation of transportation.
At the exhibition, TMT and Jiashan Itaflon Fluoropolymer Technology Co., Ltd. held a framework cooperation signing ceremony, marking the beginning of a new chapter of collaboration and mutual success. This signing represents a significant step in TMT's strategy to expand its presence in the hydrogen energy industry chain and deepen industrial collaboration. Leveraging their respective strengths in technology, resources, and markets, the two parties will engage in in-depth cooperation to fully capitalize on synergies, jointly explore new pathways for the development of the hydrogen energy industry, and contribute to the large-scale growth of the hydrogen energy sector.
