Recently, the project titled "Construction and Application of a Quality Management Information System for the Full Value Chain of Diversified Industries" by TMT won the First Prize at the 21st National Transportation Enterprise Management Modernization Innovation Achievements. The award, organized and evaluated by the China Association of Communication Enterprise Management, represents a ministerial-level authoritative recognition in the field of management innovation within the transportation industry.
In response to the quality management challenges posed by the company's diversified industries, multi-product-line operations, and high-mix low-volume manufacturing model, TMT adheres to the "quality first" philosophy. With "Creating Value, Serving Operations" as its core strategy, "conformity" as its foundation, and "digitalization" as its engine, TMT has systematically promoted the construction of a digital quality management platform (QMS system) covering the full value chain. The platform focuses on five core capabilities: R&D quality planning, supply chain quality collaboration, manufacturing process control, issue closed-loop management, and data-driven decision support. Through process restructuring and system integration, the platform aims to drive TMT's quality management transformation from "post-event control" to "process prevention" and "source assurance," to establish industry-leading quality management practices during the 15th Five-Year Plan period and comprehensively elevate TMT's quality management maturity.
Currently, TMT's QMS system has achieved preliminary informatization and standardization of quality processes, enabling quality data logging and online traceability at key business stages. By integrating multiple business systems, TMT is gradually implementing quality requirements across R&D, procurement, manufacturing, and operations, laying the foundation for a new quality management paradigm characterized by clear processes, defined responsibilities, and traceable data.
This award signifies that TMT's exploration and implementation of digital solutions to enhance quality management have received authoritative recognition within the industry. TMT will continue to refine the project's outcomes, advancing them from "usable'' to "user-friendly and practical,'' and will leverage innovations in quality management to drive TMT's high-quality development.
